Fair pay and safe gear are basic. Also avoiding over-harvesting. If demand explodes and nobody sets standards, people get hurt.

Outsiders act like it’s a party trick. For many communities it’s tied to seasons, labor, risk, and respect. It’s not content, it’s livelihood.
