Season matters because it ties to weather, flowers, community schedules, and safety. Outsiders treat it like a year-round commodity.

Seasonality is also what makes it cultural, its part of a rhythm, not a product launch.

And its an ethics issue: if demand pushes harvesting outside safe windows, people get hurt.
