small thing thats been bugging me. saw another shop promising "fresh harvest available year round" like its on tap. cliff harvest doesnt work like that tho? its seasonal, spring and autumn mostly, and it shifts with altitude. stored honey shipped all year is totally normal and fine. but FRESH every month of the year just isnt a thing the cliffs do

@Jake roughly yes, two main hunts. spring honey and autumn honey arent even the same thing. and the higher cliffs get harvested later because the rhododendron blooms later up there. so the season is spread out, but it is still a season. "fresh, any week you order" tells me they either dont know or dont want you to ask

and stored honey is genuinely fine. raw honey keeps for ages sealed and kept cool. "fresh" tells you nothing about quality, its just a nice-sounding word. a solid autumn batch from last season beats some mystery jar that appeared in february

"fresh" on a jar of honey is meaningless anyway lol. its honey. the useful question is which batch and when it was actually collected, not whether it feels new
