I relate. I came in through videos and felt my brain doing the 'two extremes' thing. This forum helped because people here don’t talk like ads or like panic headlines.

From a simple food lens: it’s still honey. The internet makes it feel like a forbidden substance. That framing alone can create anxiety.

Not to be cynical, but your anxiety is also a signal: the market messaging is messy. A trustworthy category shouldn’t require you to 'ignore your gut.'

This thread is a perfect example of why we need a 'Calm Overview' page. Newcomers shouldn’t have to wade through extremes to feel grounded.

Thanks for posting this. It’s exactly what Start Here is for. No one here will push you. If you want a reading-only path, start with:

  • Myth vs Reality
  • Safety boundaries/who should avoid entirely
  • What ‘lab tested’ should mean (COA basics)

And if you ever decide 'not for me,' that’s a complete and valid endpoint.
