@KiranFromNepal yeah thats the bit i care about too. "ethically sourced" on a label is nothing on its own. named cooperative? real harvest cycle? do they actually know the village? premium price + vague chain is just a markup with good PR

worth it when youre buying testing + traceability + fair sourcing. ripoff when its the same anonymous honey with a nicer lid. price reads the same either way, which is sort of the whole problem

wild thing is the cheap end and the scammy-pricey end can be the same product, just packaged different. one bets you wont care, the other bets you think price = quality. neither shows you a lab report

@Sam ok that reframes it for me. so the move isnt cheap vs expensive, its do they show CoA + batch id + say anything real about sourcing. price is kind of a distraction

@Jake pretty much. make them earn the premium with documents, not vibes. two jars both with a matching CoA and a real sourcing story, THEN compare prices. before that the number says nothing
