does 'limited harvest' pricing language mean anything or is it just scarcity marketing

Seeing "limited harvest, only X jars left" everywhere now. Real supply limit behind it or just urgency, and whats the tell.

Has anyone seen a listing say it plainly, bad year, less honey, so it's costing more.
