genuine question — how much does mad honey cost normally? ive seen basically the same size jar at 20 quid and at 180 and both sites are extremely confident about their number. whats the sane range here
most of the stuff that isnt obviously junk lands somewhere around 25-60 usd per 100g by the time its through your door. under about 15 id want to know what corner got cut, past 100 youre mostly buying the box and someones ad spend. the two things that actually move it are testing and logistics — a real third party report per batch costs money, and getting jars out of nepal properly isnt cheap either
and the cheap end isnt a bargain, its just the squeeze landing further up the chain. the person on the ladder absorbs it when a jar sells for a tenner. fair price has a floor and its nowhere near zero
top end isnt quality either, its stationery. wooden box, wax seal, little card in a serif font. none of that ever touched the honey
