A honey containing a pharmacologically active compound is where it gets murky, and that murk is jurisdiction-specific. I'd be cautious treating any single blog as "the law".

@Jake reddit tells you a lot of things. from the import side (i deal more with the US but the logic carries) the product almost never gets banned by name. it gets caught by broader rules, food safety, undeclared actives, labeling. nobody writes a law that says the words mad honey
