second jar and the taste threw me a bit, theres a sort of bitter herbal sharpness behind the sweet that my first one didnt really have. bad sign or just a different batch tasting different

pretty normal for this stuff actually. tends to carry a sharper, slightly bitter/herbal edge vs regular table honey, comes from the flowers. shifts batch to batch and season to season too. off would be sour, fizzy or a fermented tang, not bitter-herbal

yeah mine had a weird almost throat-tickle edge and i thought that was the bad bit. apparently its just... the flavour

ok good, sharp-but-not-sour is the line then. doesnt smell sour at all so ill stop side-eyeing my toast. thanks
