does a CoA expire, is a 2-year-old lab result still worth anything
A seller pointed me to a CoA that's dated over two years ago for what they say is current stock. does that document mean anything at that age or is it basically decorative at this point? ngl
A CoA reflects the batch it was tested for, at the time it was tested. If the "current stock" isnt literally that same batch, the document is describing something else entirely, age isnt really the issue, mismatch is.
so the actual question is just "is this the same batch number as the CoA," the date on it almost doesnt matter beyond that
reusing an old CoA for new stock is exactly the kind of thing "recycled documentation" covers, worth checking the batch numbers actually line up.
checked, numbers didnt match. glad i asked....
