Questions I had before my first time — answered
I spent a week with questions I was embarrassed to ask because most answers online were either patronizing or hyped. Listing them here with the honest answers I eventually found:
Q: Can I take it with alcohol?
Not recommended. Alcohol is a CNS depressant and adds cardiovascular load. The combination has appeared in adverse cases — not because it's uniquely dangerous, but because it raises baseline cardiovascular stress and impairs your ability to notice how you're actually feeling.
Q: Can I drive afterward?
No. Even at mild doses, the bradycardia and mild hypotension affect reaction time and judgment. Treat it like having a drink: don't drive.
Q: How will I know if it's working?
Your heart rate drops noticeably and you feel heavier and warmer. It's subtle at low doses but it's there if you pay attention.
Q: What if nothing happens?
Wait the full 90 minutes. If nothing has happened by then, you had a low-potency batch or an unusually low individual response. Don't redose the same session.
Q: What if it feels like too much?
Lie down, drink water, stay calm. It metabolizes out. Don't take anything to counteract it.
