Show me proof: how do we know this isn’t just Turkish honey re-labeled as Nepal?

Also, not all Nepal honey is the same. People oversimplify Nepal into one thing, which ironically makes faking easier.

I’d love a pinned checklist: If a seller can’t provide its origin, assume it’s marketing.

To verify authenticity (especially Nepal-sourced):

  • Lab testing is the gold standard: Look for third-party COAs (Certificates of Analysis) testing for grayanotoxin levels (to confirm presence/potency without dangerous excess), purity (no additives/syrups), and ideally pollen/microscopic analysis for Himalayan floral markers.
  • Reputable sellers often provide batch-specific reports (e.g., for GTX levels below safe recreational thresholds like ~0.05%).
  • Other checks: Traceable harvest info, certifications (e.g., Nepal standards), and user reviews/experiences (though subjective).
  • Red flags: Cheap prices, no testing docs, or generic claims without evidence.

let me know if you want anything else! 😀
