Traceability: ability to link a product to a specific harvest region/date/batch and verify handling along the way.

Batch variability: differences between harvests due to botanical source, geography, season, and storage, means effects aren’t uniform.

Harm minimization: talking about risks honestly and reducing them, instead of pretending the product is harmless or pretending it’s evil.
