mad honey uk sellers — what should i actually be asking before i hand over money
about to buy my first jar and ive spent two evenings staring at three uk sites. they all say "ships from uk" which made me feel better for about ten minutes until i clocked that all that means is theres a shed in essex involved somewhere. so what do i actually ask these people. really dont want to be the guy who paid forty quid for warm syrup
Three questions, in this order.
Can you send the third party lab report for the batch I would actually receive, not a generic one from two years ago. What lot or batch number is printed on the jar, and does it match that report. And where in Nepal did it come from, and who did you buy it from.
A seller who has done the work answers all three in one email without getting defensive. A seller who hasn't sends you a photograph of a mountain.
"ships from uk" tells you where the box was last. nothing about whats in the jar, when it went in, or who got paid for it
that little UK STOCK badge in the corner is doing the same job as the word artisan. its there to shorten the distance between you and the buy button. its not information
asked one of them for a batch report last month and got told it was "commercially sensitive" lol. its a number on a page mate, not your recipe
